Description
This original World War II era Japanese currency was captured and brought back by the US Marine Corps soldier who fought in the Pacific Theater. This Japanese 10 Yen bill is estimated to be printed in 1942 and was one of the common forms of currently carried by Japanese soldiers and civilians. What makes this note so special is the ink signatures on the backside of the bill. The note is signed by four U.S. soldier in ink and is still readable given its age.
