Bring back by a USMC soldier.
This is a very rare look at what Japanese
soldiers were given as propaganda on the front lines to show their successes against the Americans in battle.
What makes this double sided kanji filled propaganda piece so unique is the bottom left image of very wounded American soldier in the Pacific Theater. These images were used to boost Japanese moral on islands such as Okinawa, Iwo Jima, and other later taken islands as the US pushed towards Japan.
Other than basic wear, this paper is of good size and looks large then the photos show...and was framed by the soldier in his home. The frame was old and falling apart but was on display as a bring back of his in his home since the war.
