WWII Japanese Type 96 Machine Gun Cleaning Kit Spare Parts Leather Case

In this listing we have a World War II Japanese Type 96 Machine GunCleaning Kit and Spare Parts in original Leather Case. It isapproximately 7.5 inches x 3 inches x 2 inches. These were used bythe Japanese and other Asian militaries. Perfect for militarymemorabilia collectors who are looking for something unusual andrare. Great addition to a serious collector’s collection.
Items included:
Leather case is invery nice condition but it has been used and has seen some combat.There are some minor/moderate wear spots. Some of the stitching haswear spots, but it all looks to be continuous/intact. Buckle iscomplete, some wear, no rust.
Bolt is stamped withserial number “40351.” (decimal point means it is the spare boltfor machine gun # 40351). In very good shape. Some discoloration andlight pitting, but no wear to speak of. No rust.
Firing pins (3).Very good shape. They all have minor discoloration, and one has asmall dab of what looks to be grease—probably applied asprotection.
Extractors (2). Bothhave minor wear. Both are stamped on one side with what is probably aJapanese marking. One is stamped 45646 and has very light scraping(could be from use or just tooling). The other is stamped 42801 andhas no discernible scraping.
Extractor alignmenttools (6). All have negligible wear. Some have what appears to begrease on their inner curves. The ones without grease are stampedwith what appears to be a Japanese marking in their inner curves.
Bag (1). Holds thefiring pins, extractors, and extractor alignment tools. Small browncloth bag with drawstring. Bag and string are in very good shape.
Repair tools:tweezers—good shape, some wear, grip ridges in very good condition.Spring—very good shape, no discernible condition issues. Rod (inspring)—a little tarnish but little or no pitting. Hook-and-threadtool—good shape, minor wear to both hook and thread, but the threadappears to be intact. Spare thread—very good shape; minordiscoloration and wear in spots.
