    Description

    Fresh from a Montana estate, this is purported to be a data from a WWII Japanese submarine. It is made of aluminum and measures 2 5/8" wide and 2" high. It has scrapes, wear, and what looks to be a hole melted through it. It is however, legible and displayable. This piece came from the estate of the son of a former US Navy officer. He graduated Annapolis in 1916, and served in both World Wars. The story that came with this plate was that it was from a Japanese sub, we know no other information, so please look it over carefully.
