    Description

    For sale here is a very nice WW2 Japanese Propaganda Leaflet.  This leaflet appears to be aimed at American Soldiers, and features a group of women looking desirously at a handsome man.  The card caption states, "What a life to be at home where a man is the idol of millions of beautiful girls.  It's great to be alive!  And what a time you would have!"  The leaflet also shows the ratio of marriageable mean and women in the United States.  It lists the ratio at 10 to 10 in 1940 all the way down to 10 women to 1 man by 1943.  The leaflet is approximately 5" tall and 7 1/8" wide.  The leaflet is blank on the back.  The colors are vibrant.  However, this leaflet does show age, yellowing, but the corners are nice.  These are printed on very very thin paper and there is considerable ghosting on the back.  This is a very nice original that will display well.  This will make a nice addition to your collection.
