    Type Late war butt plate nails,New Production. These are the closest nails to the original Japanese nails I could find. The  originalJapanese nail heads are a little smaller but these have the nice "Cross hatch" pattern like the originals.The Japanese used various length nails and  two different style nail shanks,some have a straight shank and some have a spiraled shank. The darker nail in the pictures is of an original nail.   (Set of three.)
