WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy - TORPEDO TIMER / CHRONOGRAPH - Submarines

You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and VERY RARE example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy Split Second Torpedo Stopwatch / Chronograph, as used by various Submarine and Torpedo Boat crews!
Made of nickel-plated brass, this Imperial Japanese Navy Split Second Torpedo Chronograph Timer is in EXCELLENT functioning condition!
In addition to the two main hands, i
t features two sub-dials, with 30-minute and 60-second displays.  The movement is near PERFECT, however I do not see any manufacture information.  It features a Japanese Navy acceptance stamp on the inside of the dust cover, as well as numerous Kanji markings on the rear.  From what I can translate, it indicates:

It is 100% functional, however the 2nd sweep hand does not reset to "0".  This is actually a very easy fix, but I will leave that to the winning bidder to rectify.
Some marks and scratches due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB!  The ONLY one I have seen of its type, and like most Jap
anese items it is a VERY RARE item!  EXCELLENT addition to any collection, or display!
