WW2 German Luftwaffe Original Tachometer Engine RPM Testing Unit. Condition is "Used".
You are bidding on a WW2 German Luftwaffe 30-4000 RPM Engine Tachometer Testing Unit, as used when calibrating the engines on various fighter and bomber aircraft!
This mechanical gauge was produced around 1940-1945 and measured the engine RPM for testing and calibration. While the engine was running, the mechanic would place the end of the gauge into the apparatus he wished to test, which would then give the observer the correct engine RPM.Made of aluminum, brass, and steel, this instrument is in FANTASTIC used condition! 98% of the original finish remains, and is 100% functional! It comes complete in the original box, as well as ALL fittings and tools.  Some slight marks due to the age, but no breaks, damage, or cracks!
There is a testing date of December , 1942 on the instructions sheet in the case.
