Description
You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and VERY RARE example of a WW2 Japanese Navy Seikosha Split-Second Stopwatch! Used to calculate/time firing intervals, it was used by various Submarines and Destroyers!Usually worn around the neck by Navy personnel responsible for Attack Coordination (Torpedos and Artillery), this Seikosha Stopwatch is in AMAZING functioning condition!
It features a split-second display, in 30 second intervals, and the manufacture name is clearly marked on the face, indicating, "Seikosha". Rear of the case is tough to translate, but it appears to say, reads:
? Bureau
Seconds
No. 6
Still functions PERFECTLY! Some very slight marks and scratches due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB! The box is not original to this timer, and is for a Phonotelemeter. Does features some marks, scratches, and wear, however. A bit smaller than the standard Seikosha Timer, it is the only one I
have seen of its type! L
ike most Japanese items, it is a VERY RARE item, perfect for any collection or display!

------------------- ABOUT ME -----------------
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
