I recently purchase loads of buttons from a fashion designer's estate....His career was mainly 1950s-1990s, including stints at Catalina and other sportswear companies....He had many many button samples sent to him by button manufacturers.....These were among the samples, (stored in divided trays) and were never used...

: 8 buttons with stars, shield shape and the number 76 in the shield (bicentenniel year), 4 each of two different sizes
MATERIAL
: antiqued dark grey looking metal

DIMENSIONS
: 4 approx 7/8" across, and 4 approx 3/4" across...for a total of 8 buttons
CONDITION
: never used. shank on reverse (see photo)
