DESCRIPTION
WW2 era Japanese enamel on metal saki helmet cup (kabuto sakazuki in Japanese). The image in the center shows chrysanthemums along the bottom, the national military Japanese Rising Sun with rays flag, a naval fullered anchor and a naval ship encased in a chrysanthemum shape on right. The writing on top refers to the Manchurian war. The base is raised on a propeller or chrysanthemum design on the bottom along with a raised anchor to denote the navy along with a makers chop mark and number.
A beautiful addition to your Japanese military, WW2 collection or a fabulous housewarming gift idea.

Marked outside: Naval anchor Chopmark 27413
MEASUREMENTS
Kabuto Sakazuki measures 2.25" in diameter and just under 1" tall and weighs 1oz.
CONDITION
In nice condition considering age and use with a chip on the rim of the enamel (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
