vintage 4 BUTTONS from fashion designer estate gold EAGLES big thighs uniform?

I recently purchase loads of buttons from a fashion designer's estate....His career was mainly 1950s-1990s, including stints at Catalina and other sportswear companies....He had many many button samples sent to him by button manufacturers, as well as a personal collection of used buttons.....These were among the used buttons, exact age/history unknown

CONDITION
: good condition, no dents some wear to plating and also to reverse...These were actually once used, as there was a bit of thread clinging to one shank that fell as I examined them. I wonder if these were once uniform buttons? Navy, possibly?
