The Uzbekistan 50 Sum banknote is part of the 1994 issues of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Republic. It comes in a color combination of brown and orange and measures 144 x 68 mm. The obverse side shows tile patterns and the Uzbek coat of arms. The reverse side features the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, Tilya-Kori Madrasah, and Sher-Dor Madrasah of the Registan in Samarkand. This banknote uses a solid security thread with demetalized country name in Uzbek text and contains a watermark with a coat of arms design.
