Description

The Tajikistan 20 Somoni Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Tajikistan in 2018. This brown banknote features Abuali ibn Sino (Avicenna) who is known as the great scientist of the Tajik people. It also shows the coat of arms of Tajikistan, a snake, and flowers. The reverse depicts the bank logo the Hissar Castle, and the national flag. It contains a holographic stripe with Abuali ibn Sino, the denomination, and the coat of arms. It also bears a registration device in a form of the bank logo, a color-changing windowed security thread with demetallized Tajik text 20, and a watermark that reveals Abuali ibn Sino.It is 150 x 65 mm in size and is signed by Emmomali Rakhmonov and Nurmahmadzoda Jamshed. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
