RARE ORIGINAL Japanese  A6M2 & A6M3 Zero Engine Oil Tanks

SUPER RARE ORIGINAL Japanese Mitsubishi Nakajima A6M2 Zero Engine Oil Tank and Mitsubishi A6M3 Engine Oil Tank.
Rare pieces indeed.  Have never seen these for sale in all my years of selling on Ebay and you are likely to never see again
Please study the pics for condition - the parts are genuine and used.
Priced for the serious collector to reflect the rarity of these pieces.
On the A6M2 oil tank (the round shaped one) You can clearly see the aotake (candy green) protective coating used on the oil tank as the back was protected from the elements.  Tank also still has the dip stick.
The A6M3 oil tank came from a A6M3 restoration project and this has been sectioned and reassembled in order to make a duplicate for the restoration.  As you can see it is in rougher shape with shrapnel damage but is still a very rare piece given the limited number of A6M3 HAMP zeros that were manufactured
It is virtually impossible to get parts off the south pacific islands now, as most are considered heritage items and many wrecks are being scrapped for the aluminum value. Whether for a restoration or for that ultimate zero collection these pieces will be a great addition.
