It is smaller than the one for enlisted men and has a fitting for inserting it into the saddle.The leather is all tanned cowhide, and the tailpiece is nickel-plated brass, of higher quality than that of the enlisted men.Completely unused.The leather is soft and firm, and the stitching is perfect.There is some rust on the fittings.
