    Description: There are bank notes were issued by the Japanese Government for use in the occupied Philippines during World War II. The Japanese attacked the islands just one day after the attack on pearl Harbor, and within six weeks the Philippines fell. It was not until late 1944 that General Douglas MacArthur was able to keep the promise he had made while evacuating the islands in 1942: " I shall return." And worth collecting .
