The banknote is made in the same style as banknotes in circulation. So, the front side contains mostly vertical images, the reverse side - horizontal. The design is made using a demetallized strip located along the entire vertical, with a holographic image of the face value.
The banknote has

and is made in a predominant gray color with
a size of 155x79mm
.
The front side depicts the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the monument "Kazakh Eli", the triumphal arch "Mangilik El", a fragment of the Kazakh national ornament "Baskur" and the number "30", symbolizing the years of Independence.
On the reverse side of the banknote there is a panoramic view of Astana and the Akorda residence.
