Japanese WWII Model 93 Battery Commanders Telescope with Tripod Case

Description

This auction is for a Model 93 Battery Commander's Telescope which allowed measurements of angles of site from -300 to +300 mils, as well as measurements of azimuth. An unusual feature is that the telescope cannot be placed in a horizontal plane for better stereoscopic vision. The Telescope has an 8 power magnification and a 6 degree field of view. The Model 93 Telescope is in very good condition for its age. No real paint chipping and the optics are clear with azimuth and elevation scales clear. The case and Telescope Serial Numbers match. The Metal Case is in very good condition. The Top inside plate is present, which is very rare and hard to find. The spare lenses are present in the case lid. The very rare Tripod Canvas Case is present. There is a rip in the canvas at the top on the back of the Canvas Case. There is no Tripod.
