    Description

    The envelope
    is from the 10th Congress of the Association of Space Explorers (ASE) taken place in Russia in 1994. ASE’s Russian hosts organized a marathon boat trip across Lake Baikal to impress upon the assembled fliers the beauty, uniqueness and fragility of the Baikal eco-system. In the nearby city of Ulan-Ude, capital of the Russian republic of Buryatia, ASE opened the next phase of the two-part theme session. The cover was postmarked in the city of Ulan-Ude.
    The envelope was hand signed by 11 astronauts / cosmonauts, including
    Pavel POPOVICH, Valery KUBASOV (
    Soyuz-Apollo
    ), Michel TOGNINI, Muhammad FARES
    and other famous Space Explorers. Autograph’s identifier is included (as on the photo).
